Positives: The Garmin Zumo 550 has a glove-friendly touch screen which is sunlight-readable, gives both voice and text directions, has an easy mounting kit for use both on the motorcycle and in the car, preloaded maps, and is both virbation resistant and water proof. Comes with an in-built MP3 player and integrated Bluetooth for hands free calls.
Negatives: Users have experienced out of date maps but this has been taken care of with recent software updates. The automatic route calculation feature can take a little time to load. Display screen could have been larger.
The Verdict: Despite some very minor operational issues, the Garmin Zumo 550 is an excellent motorcycle GPS unit. Designed by bikers for bikers, it is far the best GPS unit purpose made for a motorbike that you can buy. This unit has Bluetooth integration.
