Positives: The Garmin StreetPilot 2820 has integrated Bluetooth for hands free cell phone calls and to receive navigation voice instruction through a compatiable helmet earpiece. Has an inbuilt MP3 player and touch-screen. Offers real-time traffic information and weather reports, as well as preloaded maps.
Negatives: Not specifically designed for a motorcycle but can be used effectively with the correct mount. Slightly expensive in light of the StreetPilot's lack of features when compared to other lower end models. Some small bugs with the traffic system.
The Verdict: While not specifically designed for motorcycle use, this portable GPS unit can be a good alternative with the correct mount fitted. Has integrated Bluetooth for hands-free calls and voice-guided instructions which is an excellent feature when traveling on a motorcycle. Somewhat pricey when compared to other models with similar features.
